What is Sensory Integration?

Aims of the course:

To develop an understanding of Sensory Integration
To increase awareness of Sensory Processing Disorder
To learn about the eight senses
To experience a little of what it is like to be sensory overloaded
To increase awareness of what equipment could help
To develop intervention strategies to support individuals with sensory processing disorder
To develop a positive sensory environment

Nb. it is strongly advised that a full sensory assessment is undertaken prior to this course in order to ensure the right needs are addressed

· This is a full day course (6.5 hrs)
